February 23, 2013 to April 14, 2013

The first institutional solo exhibition of Josephsohn’s works will open in Oxford, England in February. The exhibition spaces in the art gallery MODERN ART OXFORD, which was already established in the 1960s, formerly housed a beer brewery and offer sophisticated surroundings for Josephsohn’s sculptures. The focus of the presentation, which was designed by the Kesselhaus Josephsohn, is on the large, late half-figures in the main room – in the second large exhibition room it is possible to see two large flat reliefs from the early 1950s and additional works from the genre of the reliefs primarily from the late 1990s.

The exhibition is realized in cooperation with the Kesselhaus Josephsohn/Galerie Felix Lehner in St.Gallen, Hauser & Wirth, and private lenders.
