Summer 2005 «If One Thing Matters» a film about Wolfgang Tillmans

Wolfgang Tillmans became famous with his coincidental seeming photographs of the club and party scene of the techno-generation. Since being awarded the renowned Turner Prize in 2000 as the first photographer and non-Brit and having the opportunity to mount a large solo-exhibition in the Tate Gallery in London in 2003, he has been considered to be among the internationally most important artists of the present.

Heiko Kalmbach and his camera accompanied Wolfgang Tillmans at work for four years. In the process, he created a multifaceted portrait of the artist, which was edited and achieved its final form in the Sitterwerk.

The Sitterwerk along with KINOK St.Gallen presented the film for the first time in Switzerland on 11.12.2008.
