«Who's There – A Dance Piece with Text»

February 27, 2015 to February 28, 2015

«While asleep, I once saw all of Europe’s mountains collapse.»

On February 27 and 28, the premiere of «Who’s There – A Dance Piece with Text» is taking place in the studio house in the Sitterwerk. Eight young people first met each other in the late summer of 2014 to start a dance project. The starting point for the collection of movements is Dorothee Elmiger’s novel «Schlafgänger»: restless individuals who hurry from one place to the next, walk sleepless through cities, and observe the world. The group, with Juliette Uzor, Dominique Enz, Florentin Heuberger, Moritz Lehner, Maurus Leuthold, Sebastian Ryser, Stephanie Schmidt, and Myriam Uzor, reinterprets. This leads to the creation of movements, from which develop choreographies. Dance elements alternate with passages from the book.

The piece will be performed on streets and squares in the spring, summer, and fall.
