The two artists Regula Engeler and Susa Gunzner edited and added sound to their film project «enigma (on a clear day you can see forever)» during their two months in the guest studio in the Sitterwerk in the summer 2008. The key player in this film is Death - represented, following in a great iconographic tradition, as a skeleton moving nimbly through a forest that seems haunting and cozy at the same time—sometimes distinctly recognizable in its guise as death personified, and then again crouching in the undergrowth and hardly detectable—an often threatening but sometimes also quite warm-hearted friendly entity. The premiere of this film took place in the autumn in the Lokremise in St.Gallen.
