Moritz Junge
The body interests more than the lemon...
Bodies interest me more than lemons . . .
Can I be here and not think of sculpture?
Can I cast off my body? Does a dancing body trace volumes?
In my hands, does wax lead to different answers than graphite?
The artist and costume and set designer Moritz Junge devoted himself to these and other questions during his stay at the Sitterwerk’s Studio House in January and February, and thus opened himself up to a path-breaking parentheses—to a point in time that is a milestone for visual and applied art.
Since an on-site visit is not possible, we invite you to a virtual studio visit. Discover Moritz Junge’s spectrum, inspirations, and works and discuss them with him on instagram.
