Johannes Willi wants a lot of things, everything all at once, and, if possible, already today. In the Sitterwerk, where he has been coming and going since January, he thus experimented and worked on various projects. They include a new iteration of his Chronic Pain Orchestra, which addresses and expresses perceptions of pain in an experimental manner. During the open studio, he will make blown-up objects made of nickel-silver sheet metal resonate. Johannes Willi drew intensively and in collaboration with employees of the workshops and archives and in cooperation with organisms from the world of fungi, worked on mycelium sculptures that are still in the process of growing.
We warmly invite you to the open studio and look forward to deepening your understanding of the works that were created and developed further in the Sitterwerk and the Kunstgiesserei.
Food, beverages, music, and a good atmosphere are guaranteed.
