Museum Night 2015
Under the motto Museum Night Sounds this years St.Gallen Museum Night takes place on Saturday, September 5th. The Sitterwerk with the Kunstgiesserei and the Photo Lab will take part as venues and has invited the two musicians Anthea Caddy and Asi Föcker to create musical works for the occasion. The two musicians live in Berlin, Australia and in Switzerland, and have often collaborated on projects over the years. The musicians will arrive at Sitterwerk a few days before the Museum Night in order to create various sound experiments specifically for the space, titled Sitterwerk unplugged: Acoustic experiments will be created in the rooms, outdoor spaces, gaps and voids of the Kunstgiesserei and Sitterwerk. Through the interplay of closeness and distance, vibration and acoustic amplifications various sound installations will take place throughout the evening.

Asi Föcker and Anthea Caddy will also create, together with the casting team of the Kunstgiesserei, an experimental sound midnight cast:
12am, Midnight cast in the Kunstgiesserei
Bar service from 6pm until 1am, the Kunstgiesserei chefs will prepare meals for the Museum Night visitors from 6pm until 11pm.
Tickets
A ticket for the Museum Night costs 20 francs and allows entry into all participating museums and free travel on the museum route, the shuttle bus (from Stocken via Sitterwerk) and in the «Ostwind» zone 210 including the «Nachtwind» surcharge. Admission is free for children up to 16 years of age. With the Kulturlegi, the entrance fee is 10 francs.
