Stefan Burger talks about his books and ephemera
on Monday, 4th of May, 7 pm
With the addition of all the books by the artist Stefan Burger to our collection, we are completing our second collection of works by guest artists this year, following that of Virginia Overton.
Starting from his residency at the Atelierhaus in 2021 and the Sitterwerk edition Sankt Galler Schwund, Stefan Burger discusses his publications and ephemera, which are on display in the library. The focus is on themes such as materialisation and dematerialisation, as well as presence and absence.
The project «A Library is a Growing Organism» at the art library takes place in the context of the Sitterwerk jubilee year 2026.
