Ani Schulze was a guest in the Sitterwerk studios from May to August 2019.
During her stay in the Sitterwerk, Ani Schulze worked on the sculptural extension of her video work "Flint House Lizard", which deals with the physical and conceptual influences of solar cycles and other elemental natural forces on current social models for life. Equally at home in analogue and digital media as well as in drawing, collage, video, and sculpture, in the Sitterwerk, she assembled a room installation, which she combined with a lecture performance during the open studio. Schulze studied at the Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main and at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf.
