The Sitterwerk Foundation’s Atelierhaus has two large workrooms with accompanying living area, which are available to invited artists during a stay as guests. In the Sitter Valley, guests can pursue their work in seclusion and/or lively exchange. The collections of the Kunstbibliothek and the Werkstoffarchiv can be used for in-depth research while doing so. Moreover, the proximity to the Kesselhaus Josephsohn, the Fotolabor, and the Kunstgiesserei also provide an inspiring framework for one’s personal work.
There is no open call for residencies at Sitterwerk. For shorter research stays (max. 1 week), the guest room can be booked. Please send inquieries to post@sitterwerk.ch
